Return Terms & Condition

1. General Return Policy

At Dharmiecoal Textile Art Gallery, we value customer satisfaction and strive to ensure every order meets expectations. Due to the handmade and dyed nature of Adire fabrics, slight variations in color, patterns, and finishing may occur and shall not be considered defects.

Returns and exchanges are accepted only under the conditions stated below.


2. Eligible Reasons for Return

Customers may request a return or exchange only if:

  • The wrong item was delivered.
  • The fabric delivered is significantly damaged before delivery.
  • The quantity supplied is incomplete.
  • The order received is materially different from what was confirmed.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Cut fabrics or customized orders.
  • Washed, used, altered, or damaged fabrics after delivery.
  • Orders approved by the customer before production.
  • Minor color or pattern variations resulting from the handmade Adire dyeing process.
  • Clearance or discounted items.

4. Return Request Timeline

Customers must report any issue within 7 days after delivery.

Complaints made after this period may not qualify for return or refund.

Customers should provide clear photos/videos of the item and packaging when making a complaint.


5. Delivery Fee Policy

To reduce unnecessary costs for both the customer and the company:

  • Delivery fees are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched.
  • If the company is responsible for an error (wrong item, damaged item before delivery, or incomplete order), the company will cover the cost of redelivery or replacement.
  • If the customer changes their mind after dispatch or provides an incorrect delivery address, the customer shall bear all additional delivery charges.
  • Failed deliveries caused by unavailable recipients may attract an additional delivery fee for reattempt.

6. Exchange Procedure

Where a return is approved:

1. The customer must return the item in its original condition and packaging.


2. The company will inspect the fabric upon receipt.


3. Approved exchanges or replacements will be processed within 3–7 business days.


4. Refunds, where applicable, will exclude original delivery charges unless the error was caused by the company.

7. Delivery Disclaimer

Once orders are handed over to the delivery partner, delivery timelines may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Road or transport delays
  • Public holidays
  • Security or regional restrictions

The company will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in tracking their orders but shall not be liable for delays beyond its control.


8. Order Confirmation

Customers are advised to carefully confirm:

  • Fabric type
  • Quantity
  • Color selection
  • Delivery address
  • Phone number
    before payment and dispatch.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with our company, the customer agrees to these Return Terms & Conditions.
